Easy Protein Energy Bites

If you’re looking for ways to increase your protein intake, these are the perfect snack! They taste like dessert but have lots of healthy ingredients to keep you full and fueled until your next meal. I use Plexus Lean Whey protein in these because it tastes the best and doesn’t make the bites gritty. But you can substitute any protein powder you have on hand.

Ingredients:

1 cup of all natural peanut butter (I use the creamy kind you have to stir)

1/2 cup of oats

1 tbsp chia seeds

2 tbsp of honey

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (I use dairy free chips)

2 scoops of Plexus Lean whey protein powder (my favorite is the snickerdoodle but vanilla and chocolate are also great)

4 tsp of water

Instructions:

Mix everything together in a medium to large bowl, except for the water. I always add the water in last to make sure they don’t get too drippy. The water will make it easier for you to roll. Using a tablespoon scoop the batter and roll each bite, placing it on a plate or container you will be storing them in.

This will make about 15 bites, but you can easily double the recipe. Store in refrigerator until ready to eat.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
