5 Tips for Boosting Your Immunity

I know you’ve probably seen a million posts and blogs about this already with what’s going on in the world but I love sharing about products and tips that actually work for me. Because helping others is truly where my heart is. So here goes.

#1 Get yourself some good quality vitamins and probiotics

Not all are created equal. The supplements that I take, I have been taking for 3 years now and I have never felt this good. Not even in my 20’s when I felt like I could take on the world. I feel even better than I did then. Vitamins should be fully methylated with no added junk! And in their most bioavailable form. You can buy it here, and you will feel a difference when you take it! Now let’s talk probiotics. The majority of your immune system is in your gut! I’ve been preaching on this one for a while. Because this probiotic has literally transformed my gut health and in doing that so many things have changed for me. My hormones are now balanced, I no longer have issues with tress blooming, and it has crushed my sugar cravings. Now, I’m sure you’re asking how a probiotic can crush your sugar cravings? Well, this magical probiotic has digestive enzymes and ingredients that help kill the candida yeast in your gut and that is what makes you crave junk and sugar! So not only does it replenish the good bacteria but it kills the bad, so it’s a double threat probiotic! And trust me you need it. I didn’t know I did until I started to feel amazing. You can find it here. I also take a magnesium supplement that’s packed with vitamin c. Magnesium does so many great things for your body and this one helps flush out toxins! And if you’re not going to the bathroom “regularly” like at least once a day. You need this!

#2 Eat Fresh Fruits and Vegetables

I know this seems like common sense but most people stocked up on canned soup and things that won’t go bad. The only problem with that is they are filled with preservatives and chemicals that reek havoc on your immune system! Buy organic when you can and there are many delivery services available so you don’t have to go to the grocery store each week. Here’s a quick list of things to get:

  • Citrus fruits are packed with vitamin C like oranges
  • Peppers! Red, yellow and orange have lots of vitamin C
  • Garlic
  • Broccoli
  • Spinach
  • Ginger
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Blueberries
  • Almonds
  • and so many more!

#3 Drink Water

Water, water and more water. It does amazing things for your body and most importantly helps your body flush out toxins. So drink up! It’s recommended that you get in half your body weight in ounces a day. I know that sounds like a lot but when you work on drinking a little more each day you will get there before you know it. Get a cup with ounces on it to help you get there. Amazon has some great options, and some even have encouraging words to help you achieve your goal.

#4 Get More Sleep

Your body needs sleep! It needs to reset and reboot and if you’re not sleeping it’s wearing you and your immune system down. Go to bed earlier, turn off the tv, put your phone away. Do whatever you have to so you can sleep. If you’re having trouble sleeping because of what’s happening around you. Figure out what’s triggering your anxiety. Is it watching the news? Limit it to just the headlines of the day. Is it social media? Clean up your news feed by hitting those 3 little dots above a news post or something negative and you can select to not see it anymore! You have control over what you are consuming.

#5 Reduce Stress

Stress is even worse on your immune system than not sleeping. I know it’s hard not to be stressed at this time. But let me ask you something. Can you control what’s happening? No. The only thing you can control is how you react to it. Follow positive people on social media. Start listening to pod casts that lift you up. Start exercising! It does amazing things for reducing stress. Brain dump once a week to get everything out that you have been feeling and all those to do lists you have running around in your head. If your life was turned upside down like mine and you are now trying to home school and work from home, set a new schedule. When chaos runs your life you will be stressed. So in other words, find what works for you and stop doing the things that don’t.

I hope these tips helped you in some way. Give yourself some grace as we navigate through this and know it’s okay if you get knocked down, you will get back up again and you will be stronger for it. I am here for you as your friend, to lend a hand or even just an ear. We’re in this together.
